Israel Murdered Iran's Nuclear Scientists - Mossad Book Confirmation.

By Jean Shaoul

30 July 2012
Spies Against Armageddon: Inside Israel’s Secret Wars states unequivocally that Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, assassinated five of Iran’s top nuclear scientists over the last five years, as part of a broader campaign aimed at sabotaging the country’s nuclear programme.
It is already widely acknowledged that the Western powers are mounting a covert terrorist campaign to destroy Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. But new allegations by authors Yossi Melman, a leading Israeli military and intelligence journalist who writes for Ha’aretz, and Dan Raviv, a CBS national political correspondent, reveal that the assassinations were all carried out by Mossad operatives who used “safe houses” maintained inside Iran since the Shah’s era.

These were not contract killings, but “blue and white” operations—a reference to the colour of Israel’s flag. Mossad operatives from Kidon, a unit responsible for assassinations and kidnappings, conducted the murders.

The authors of Spies Against Armageddon are not left-wingers seeking to expose Mossad’s criminality. They glorify its services to Israel. Melman is on record as supporting an Israeli pre-emptive strike on Iran, penning an article in Ha’aretz in April 2009 headlined, “I would advise Netanyahu to attack Iran—Such a move would serve the interests of the West and the Arab world, but they can ill afford to admit it”.

The book suggests that most of the assassins were Israelis of Iranian origin who probably held dual nationality and an Iranian passport. Tens of thousands of Iranian Jews left Iran after the 1979 revolution, many moving to Israel. Mossad selected and trained a few of them or their Farsi-speaking children. These agents have been able to access Iran regularly by numerous routes, including the Kurdish region and some of the states in the Caspian Basin, such as Azerbaijan, with which Israel has close relations.....read more

CIA Analyst:United States and Israel seek to come up with a pretext for attacking Iran by fabricating intelligence.

A former CIA analyst says the United States and Israel seek to come up with a pretext for attacking Iran by fabricating intelligence, a ploy similar to the one adopted by the United States for justifying the war on Iraq a decade ago.

“As we saw 10 years ago with respect to Iraq, if one intends to whip up support for war, one needs to find a casus belli - however thin a pretext it might be,” Ray McGovern wrote in an article.

“How about juxtaposing ‘weapons of mass destruction’ with terrorism. That worked to prepare for war on Iraq, and similar rhetorical groundwork for an attack on Iran is now being laid in Israel,” his article further read.

Referring to the recent attack on a number of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, McGovern said, “Netanyahu broke all records for speed in blaming Iran and Hezbollah” for the bombing.

“On Fox News, Sunday on July 22, Mr. Netanyahu claimed Israel has ‘rock-solid evidence’ tying Iran to the attack in Bulgaria. The same day on CBS's Face the Nation, Mr. Netanyahu said, ‘We have unquestionable, fully substantiated intelligence that this [terrorist attack] was done by Hezbollah backed by Iran,’ adding that Israel gives ‘specific details to … responsible governments and agencies,’" McGovern went on to say.

The former CIA analyst added that Israel, however, has so far failed to provide any evidence for its claims of Iran's involvement.

“Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has admitted that he was aware of no information concerning the terrorist or those who dispatched him,” he underlined.

McGovern then refered to the historical moment when British intelligence chief Sir Richard Dearlove admitted that intelligence on Iraq had been fixed. ...read more

IRAN:Netanyahu’s quick response reveals Bulgaria bombing a false-flag

Israel probable author of Bulgaria false-flag operation

by Kevin Barrett, for Press TV

Even before the dust had settled and the victims were laid to rest, the Israelis and their global media assets were blaming Iran for the attack in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The Washington Post, America’s second most influential Zionist newspaper, reported on Thursday: “Israeli and American officials have blamed the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah for the bombing.” Yet the Post article acknowledged that Bulgarian officials had not even identified the bomber!

This “rush to judgment” suggests that Israel, not Iran, is the probable author of the attack.
History shows that whenever authorities blame a convenient scapegoat before the evidence is in, the attack in question is almost certainly a false-flag event…

Iran: Israel killed its own citizens in Bulgaria to attack Iran?

19.07.2012
Israel killed its own citizens in Bulgaria to attack Iran?. 47576.jpeg
Death may overtake an Israeli citizen anywhere in the world. This was probably the message that terrorists sent to the world when they blew up a bus with Israeli tourists on Wednesday at the airport in the Bulgarian resort of Burgas. It is no accident the attack was carried out in Bulgaria. Moreover, the attack coincided with the anniversary of the bombing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The policy that Israel and the U.S. run in the Middle East makes Israelis hostages of the policy. The West started and fueled the war, and the situation threatens to spiral out of control.

The tragedy happened on Wednesday afternoon at Sarafovo Airport of Burgas. The explosion ripped through the bus with 40 Israeli tourists on board. The tourists arrived in Bulgaria by plane from Tel Aviv. Seven people were killed in the blast, 32 were injured. At least four of the wounded are in critical condition. The latest version of the Bulgarian government is the following: it was a suicide bomber who committed the attack. Prior to that, it was assumed that the bomb was planted in the luggage. The attacker has been identified. Reportedly, it is a U.S. citizen who entered Bulgaria with forged documents

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of the bombing. "Everything points to Iran," said the head of the Israeli government, referring to the attacks against Israeli tourists that took place during the past three months in India, Georgia, Thailand, Kenya and Cyprus. "This is an Iranian terrorist attack that spreads around the world. Israel will react strongly to the Iranian terror," said Netanyahu.

One may analyze his statement from two different points of view. The first one is a political move of Israel to find a reason for conducting a direct strike on Iran. The most extreme version says that Israel sacrificed its citizens for this very reason. The second position is the following. It is difficult to believe that it is a political move. In other words, the Mossad made a mistake in identifying the author. Then a natural question arises: why Bulgaria, and how would Israel respond?

The first position is less real, though, just because Israel's patron - the United States - is not interested in initiating a military conflict for the time being. There is no extra money to help, the country is in a crisis and the problem of Iraq and Afghanistan still remains. The oil crisis, which in 2007 was intended to save the dollar, is no help now.

The second version can be discussed. One can not find the traces of Iranian intelligence services here ,of course, but one should realize that they are no less powerful than the Mossad. Moreover, according to Bulgarian radio station "Darik Radio", Israeli secret services had warned their Bulgarian counterparts of the possible terrorist attack in the region of Burgas. In particular, Bulgaria received a  request to toughen security at airports and around them. Therefore, Netanyahu means what he says. Why Bulgaria? First, the attack was conducted where it was not expected at all, just like in Argentina, where a bomb exploded in an Israeli NGO 18 years ago.

Secondly, they struck the Balkans, where the West made a "black hole" in the form of Kosovo and where Islamic extremists feel very much at ease.  This is an important factor, given that any bomber always needs a "safety net". In addition, Washington has been trying to become a "sponsor" of Bulgaria and other Eastern European countries since 1989. The US needs to ensure their re-orientation towards the West and avoid the revival of Russia's influence.  There are several Russian-Bulgarian facilities in the Balkan country: two air bases, a training center  and a logistics center that allows Washington to be a step away from the Middle East. In addition, in 2004, Bulgaria joined NATO, and established the State Agency for National Security four years later.

Other suspects in the Burgas bombing are the Palestinian Hezbollah and the notorious al-Qaeda. The first is a radical Shiite group, funded by Iran and coordinated by Quds - a division of the Revolutionary Guards). However, a Hezbollah representative immediately denied the accusations of the movement's involvement in the bombing. According to him, Israel's assumptions are ridiculous. Hezbollah is not at war with tourists. There is no doubt that other Palestinian movements will not claim responsibility for the bombing, at the time when they approached the recognition of their independence at the UN.

As for al Qaeda, this Sunni-Wahhabi organization, created by the Americans, does not exist for a long time already. However, fanatics and extremists - both organized and loners - still serve under the flag of the terrorist group. Their participation in the Bulgarian terrorist attack is highly likely indeed.

However, whether Shiite or Sunni extremists, they will not stop their Jihad against Israel and the West. It is no accident the attack was carried out in Europe on the eve of the London Olympics. This is a natural result of more than half a century of policies pursued by the U.S. in the Middle East under the influence of the Jewish lobby and constructed by the principle of "divide and conquer." This principle has already led to the "Arab spring" and the Islamization of Africa and Europe. Israel is like a cornered animal, after President Obama publicly proposed to revise the outcome of the Six-Day War and discuss the return of the country in the borders of 1967. When driven into a corner, animals can commits insane acts.

Iran: More Than 50% of Iranian MPs back Hormuz Strait closure bill.

Just over half of Iran's parliament has backed a draft law to block the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to close the Gulf to oil tankers in retaliation against European sanctions.
Lawmaker Javad Karimi Qodoosi, who drafted the document, said 150 of parliament's 290 members had signed the bill, describing the strait as "the world's lock" to which Iran holds the key, the lawmaker said.

And even though the final decision lies with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, and the parliament does not really get to influence foreign policy, the move would lend significant political support to a possible decision to close the Strait.

A heavy Western naval presence in the Gulf and surrounding area is a big obstacle for any attempt to block the vital shipping route through which 40 percent of the world's seaborne oil exports passes. Qodoosi dismissed this obstacle.

"From a military standpoint, the power to close the Strait of Hormuz is 100 percent there … if we close the Strait of Hormuz, no country will be able to open it", the lawmaker said.

Iran : Israeli tourist attack- A pretext for war with Iran?

Israel has accused Iran of masterminding a terror attack in Bulgaria just hours after the tragedy claimed the lives of several Israeli tourists. The incident could be used as a pretext for a legitimate strike against Iran, analyst Jamal Abdi told RT.

RT: It took Benjamin Netanyahu just two hours to blame Tehran for the bombing, saying that all signs point to Iran. What are the grounds for such hasty conclusions?

Jamal Abdi: I don’t think he has grounds to make such an accusation. I think it is an extremely dangerous accusation. And it really feeds some of the concerns that I know privately officials in Washington have expressed, that these attacks that have been carried out between the parties, between Israel and Iran, could somehow provide casus belli for a war.

In the case of Israel not having a pretext to go into Iran and overtly attack its nuclear facilities, if you have a situation like this, in which Iran is implicated, whether rightly or wrongly, for a terrorist attack, that could create a basis where an Israeli "counter" attack may be perceived as more legitimate than a preventative strike against Iran, against a nuclear program that – all indications say – has not developed into a nuclear weapons program.

RT: Given the pressure Iran is under concerning its nuclear program, and the international sanctions that come with it, would it be in Tehran's interests to mastermind an attack like this?

JA: I don’t know about the interests of Tehran, but I would not necessarily rule out some of the accusations that Iran was behind this. I think that we have entered a very dangerous cycle of escalation between the US, Iran and Israel. And given the attacks that we’ve seen inside of Iran against nuclear scientists, some of the sabotage efforts that have apparently been carried out by Israel, honestly I haven’t seen the evidence but I would not be shocked if Iran was behind this. And I think it is absolutely deplorable when innocent civilians are targeted by terrorist attack like this, regardless of where it happens or who conducts the attacks.
RT: Do you think blaming Iran for this attack could be diverting attention from Israel's ongoing domestic problems?

JA: I don’t know what Netanyahu's intentions are. I do know that he has used some extremely dangerous rhetoric and that there does seem to be a push by him to ratchet up the pressure for military action conducted either by Israel or the United States. And so when we have this confrontation between Israel and Iran, this is a strong suit that Netanyahu has politically, the very hard line that he has taken against Tehran.

I don’t know that it necessarily undermines anything that he is trying to do by immediately blaming Iran for this before even his own intelligence people have declared that Iran is behind this disgusting attack.

RT: The US recently reiterated its support for the Jewish state. How far do you think they would go to back Israel should it decide to take action?

JA: I don’t think the Unites States is going to have much of a choice, unfortunately, if it comes to a third party like Israel attacking Iran or if Iran does something provocative in the Persian Gulf. I think we are on the precipice right here, and this is a hair-trigger situation. If something happens, the United States is very likely going to be sucked into it.

There was a leak, in the Pentagon couple months ago, a simulation in which they found that in the case of Israeli strike on Iran immediately you have the United Stated getting sucked into it, immediately you have US soldiers getting killed in a counter-attack by Iran.

So the ability to control a situation like this once it actually does spiral into a war scenario, I think, is going be outside of US hands.
